Mobile app

Scans, PDFs, recognized text and signatures are processed and stored only on your phone, in the app’s private storage. The app does not upload them to us, needs no account and runs no ads or analytics. Google Play services modules for text recognition and translation run on the phone and may download their models once. Only when you choose to send a diagnostics report are the app version, phone model and technical results sent — never document content.

Web tools

With the web tools, the files you choose are uploaded to the ScanMio server for processing. Files and their names are deleted at most 60 minutes after the result is ready; you can delete them at once with "Delete files from the server now". The result can be reached only with a secret key created in your browser. For abuse limits a keyed hash of your IP address is stored, not the address itself.

Demo request

The name, e-mail, organization and message you enter are stored to answer your request and sent to CyberStar’s sales mailbox. To have them deleted, write to [email protected].

On-premise

With ScanMio installed on your organization’s servers, data stays in your infrastructure; terms are set in the contract.

The site uses no tracking or advertising cookies.
